The Globe and Mail:

Author Peter C. Newman had to quickly change tack on a book he was writing about former Liberal leader Michael Ignatieff, reports the Globe and Mail's Jane Taber. His research revealed the Liberal leader as a man who, having lived outside the country for half his life, had a confused view of patriotism. “He thought if he loved the country enough it would love him back, and it doesn’t work that way,” Mr. Newman observed.

Why is it Liberals never learn- a right of centre liberal looses every time. McGuinty won only because Harris was such a disaster. This time out he will probably loose. If he had been a left of centre liberal he would probably still win.

And that's exactly why Bob Rae is currently leading the party. To take support back from the NDP. It's a pretty obvious ploy from the Party.

The man was neither BRILLIANT or CONFUSED!

He was an agent of the Rockefeller Syndicate that has controlled Canadian Politics for decades.

You see, anyone going through the 3 big PRIVATE universities in the U.S. are profiled by the controlled Professorships. In this case Harvard is the principle recruiting grounds of POTENTIAL bought-and-paid-for politicians.

Once profiled, The Pratt House in NY takes over monitoring, sponsoring, financially backing and positioning potential candidates to head up either of the two leading political parties on either side of the border.

A splendid example is Obama. Recruited at Harvard by the Rockefeller syndicate, and mentored by Z. Brzezinski, for his oratory skills. After Harvard, he was sent to Kissinger Associates for a little grounding in World Affairs. Decades later, he was positioned and promoted to run for the Presidency.

So too was this guy. Only his oratory skills were as exciting as he was flipping hamburgers. He was just parked in the position should the Nation dump Harper. And yes, Harper is controlled out of The Pratt House in NY, David Rockefeller, Chairman Emeritus.

Anyone not believing this statement needs to read Marice Strong's book "Where On Earth Are We Going". Page 99 blows you out of the water on how Strong recruited and launched the political careers of Trudeau, Davis, Lougheed and others. And yes, Strong held positions within the Rockefeller Syndicate.

As always, Newman's articles serve only one purpose which is "disinformation"!

No, we've done this to ourselves. Canadians like to think of themselves as decent, fair minded people but spend some time here and you will discover that we are just as selfish and ignorant as the most deranged tea partiers.

I'm sorry to hear that. So Michael Moore's depictions in "Bowling..." and "Sicko" are inaccurate? I had thought of migrating there, but the climate deterred me. Too much derangement here. So, it's the baseness of human nature, not geography or politics?

Nope. We have a leftist party in the opposition and I can't imagine a comparable "socialist" party in the US. And any Christian Right/Tea Party would not have a chance to be heard. I'm no fan of Harper but he is no Bush,... I think! Too soon to call now that he has a majority of seats.

It is almost as if Ignatieff was brought in specifically to bring down the Liberal party, so that Harper could inflict his Neo con agenda on Canada.
