CBC -- A Calgary radio station is giving away breast implants in an online voting contest.

Amp Radio, a top 40 station, is calling the contest the "Breast Summer Ever" event.

From now until mid-July, anyone who submits a photo of themselves and an explanation about why they should win will get a chance at the grand prize of a $10,000 breast augmentation.

they cant give away brain implants --

evidently there are none available at the station and they could use the donated tissue themselves

Several of my friends and I who used to listen to this station have now stopped because of this disgraceful contest. I think it is insulting to all women, and I see no point to this contest unless it is to continue to make women feel insecure about their bodies.

I've never listened to it, and I can't see this contest encouraging me to in any way.
