WINNIPEG - Bogus NHL Winnipeg Jets jerseys crashed and burned at the Canadian border.

Mounties and Canada Border Services Agency seized a shipment of counterfeit jerseys bearing the newest NHL team's logo and shoulder flashes last week.

The jerseys did not have players names or numbers on them.

Police estimate the retail value would have been about $12,000.

RCMP advise the public to purchase team products through authorized dealers.

No charges have been laid so far.

The worst design I've ever seen; and someone's counterfeiting them.
