Sunday marks the 10th anniversary of the terror attacks on the United States, as well as one of the best-known humanitarian responses in the aftermath. In the small airport town of Gander and surrounding communities, residents took in thousands of stranded travellers, providing a ray of bright light in an otherwise dark chapter of history.
