Translink has fixed the electrical problems that plagued SkyTrain service early Friday morning, but it may be some time before the backlog of delayed passengers is cleared out.
"The power supply issue has been solved," TransLink spokesman Drew Snider said at 6:30 a.m. PT.
"It'll be about 15 minutes before we get all the trains out of the yard and we'll be gradually ramping up service ... should be up to full strength in half an hour, by 7:00," he said.
Bus bridges were put in place during the service interruption in the Surrey and New Westminster area.
