Manley Sought U.S. Drones For Afghanistan Mission Say Diplomatic Cables

Former deputy prime minister John Manley told U.S. officials in November 2007 that he would have an easier time getting the Liberals to support an extension of the Afghanistan combat mission if they gave Canada armed Predator drones, according to newly released diplomatic cables.
