RCMP released photos and surveillance video of what they call "a suspect vehicle" in connection with the slaying of Maple Batalia, as the young woman's father made a plea to his daughter's killer to surrender.
In a brief release late Friday, the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team distributed pictures of a late-model white Dodge Charger, "leaving the scene of Maple Batalia's murder."
Batalia, 19, was gunned down in the parking lot of the Simon Fraser University campus in Surrey, B.C., in the early morning hours of Sept. 28.
There have been no arrests.
Batalia's father, Harkirat, told reporters Friday evening he doesn't wish the same fate on any family "in this universe," and appealed to the killer to go to the law.
Her father called Batalia his "little angel" as he urged people to put away fear and come forward to police, saying Canada delivers some of the best justice in the world.
Police asked in the release for any witnesses who may have seen the Dodge in the area that night of the slaying to contact investigators.
