Pumpkin Face Mask: An All-Natural Mask By Bonding Over Beauty's Erika Katz
share this story
'Tis the season to carve pumpkins. But what to do with the shavings and filling once your Jack-o'-lantern is all lit up? Try making a skin-nourishing pumpkin mask.
This recipe -- created by Erika Katz, author of Bonding Over Beauty -- is full of exfoliating enzymes that will brighten your skin, giving you a healthy, refreshed glow. Pumpkin is also rich in vitamin A, which can help heal skin and repair damaged tissue. The antioxidant properties of the vitamin A will also help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
2 tsp canned pureed pumpkin
1/2 tsp honey
1/4 tsp heavy whipping cream
Mix all ingredients together and apply to face. Leave on for 10 minutes then rinse thoroughly.
