LANGLEY, B.C. - A lockdown ended at a high school in Langley, B.C. Tuesday with the arrest of a 17-year-old boy.

The RCMP recovered a replica handgun after being called to Langley Senior Secondary.

Cpl. Holly Marks says five teens were seen approaching the school and one of them appeared to be armed.

Students were locked in the school until police were able to check the building and arrest the teen.

Police had asked parents to stay away from the school during the incident and after the lockdown was lifted students were bused to a site near the school where they could be picked up by parents. (CKNW)

I'm sorry, but you need to do better research. LSS doesn't stand for Langley Senior Secondary, it stands for Langley Secondary School. I should know as I go there. I'm sorry if this seems rude, as it's not my intention, by I find it annoying when my school is wrongly named.
