TORONTO - Paulina Gretzky has shut down her Twitter feed, fuelling speculation that her hockey-legend father took issue with racy photos of the aspiring actress and model.

The pictures, which depict the 22-year-old Gretzky in revealing tops, short skirts and bikinis, are nonetheless continuing to cause a minor sensation on the Internet.

They show Gretzky — the eldest of the retired NHLer's five children with actress Janet Jones — in typical party-girl mode: swooning for the camera, tanning poolside and striking suggestive poses with girlfriends.

Prior to closing the account, Gretzky reportedly tweeted about "having a nice sit-down dinner with my dad about social media."

Wayne Gretzky's business manager did not immediately respond to an email from The Canadian Press.
