The Huffington Post Canada Wants To Feature You!

Street Style

Canada is a fashion force to be reckoned with, and The Huffington Post Canada is ready to blow the country's wardrobe doors wide open for the rest of the world to see. We're launching a new street style feature to celebrate the sartorial genius that resides north of the 49th. And, for us, there's no one better to comment on homegrown fashion than you!

We want you to show us what's happening in your neighbourhood -- fantastic or terrible. We want to know what the next big "thing" in your city will be -- or what trend any self-respecting Canadian should retire. And we definitely want to know: what are you wearing right now?

We'd like to invite you to grab a camera and take a pic of yourself, your friends or a stranger you think is rocking a look -- then tell us why. If you want to include video, Tweets, a Tumblr, Pinterest, amazing -- we want to see it all!

We'll post your original images and commentary online in early December.

Ready to get started? Please email your image/video/media, commentary (200 - 400 words max) to CanadaStyle@huffingtonpost.com by Monday December 5. And if you have any suggestions, drop us a line any time at that address.

Thanks and see you on HuffPost!

Canada's tried and true lack of innovation results in a great jealousy of the U.S., its largest trading partner, and a propensity to copy, this time The Sartorialist. Not to worry, copiers never surpass innovators. Scott Schuman will keep his place at the top with that incredibly innovative and imaginative website, so why would anyone seek out fashion in Canada (with the exception of Montreal), when they can seek out fashion in the world through Schuman's amazing eye.

Good street style photographers a dime a dozen these days. Get over yourself and your pompous comments.

Thanks. Great example of Canada's phobias. Canada simply avoids looking at itself, a first step towards improvement.

How can you ask people to take a picture "even of a stranger on the street" . This is so wrong, what right have I to take a picture of a stranger and post that picture without he/her permission, what is wrong with you to suggest such a thing. I would never use a strangers picture to my own advatange, or for that matter yours too. Shame shame!!

Awesome! Getting people to do your work for free! This is pathetic.
