Acne-Free Skin: How To Get Healthy Skin With Foods

The next time you're cooking with garlic, you may want to consider saving some for your nightly beauty routine.

Mystyle.com's "How Do I Look?" host Jeannie Mai gives us three tips on how to get rid of blemishes and finally say goodbye to popping zits. Even though we've explored healthy options for perfect skin in the past, like the best foods for healthy skin or the must-have nutrients for radiant skin, this video solely focuses just on those red bumps we hate waking up to.

We don't want to give everything away but Mai's suggestions all stem from items you can find in your kitchen.

One great easy way that I get rid of my pimples is with onion. I puree the onion and apply to my face once a week as a mask. The sulfur in the onion draws out all of the gunk, like excess oil, bacteria and dirt from my pores. It even helps reduce the possibility of scarring after the pimple is gone. It's natural and simple. Just like on my website http://www.acne-sensitive-skin-care-treatment.com/homemade-acne-treatment.com I state that homemade acne treatments are great because they are natural (chemical free) and because they are quite effective.
