Brampton fatal shooting arrest made

Peel Regional Police have made an arrest in Sunday’s shooting that claimed the life of a 23-year-old Brampton man.

Brampton resident Terence Everet Watson, 25, has been charged with second-degree murder in the shooting death of Richard Forbes.

Just before midnight on Sunday, police responded to a disturbance call and found Forbes inside a house at 54 Newby Court suffering from a gunshot wound. He was declared dead at the scene.

Watson is scheduled to make a court appearance in Brampton on Tuesday.

Peel police are asking anyone with information in the case to call their homicide bureau at (905) 453-2121 ext. 3205.
