Lignol Energy posts Q2 loss of $1.3M as government, corporate contributions dip

VANCOUVER - Lignol Energy Corp. (TSXV:LEC) reports fiscal 2012 second-quarter net loss of $1.3 million or three cents per share, compared with net income of $100,000 or less than a penny per share in the same fiscal 2011 period. The developer of technologies for the production of advanced biofuels and other renewable chemicals reported no commercial revenues but received $900,000 from government and corporate contributions in the period, down from $2.5 million.
