SLAVE LAKE, Alta. - Some numbers related to the Slave Lake fire and its aftermath:

Homes destroyed: 374 in Slave Lake, 59 in surrounding rural municipality

Homes damaged: 52 in town, 32 in surrounding area

Businesses lost: 10

Temporary mobile units: 189

Residents temporarily living elsewhere: 214

Construction permits issued: 155 in town, 83 in rural district

New homes completed: Two in town, four outside town
