Toronto Child Sexual Assault: Girl Allegedly Abducted And Assaulted In Bathurst-Wilson Area
TORONTO - Toronto police are looking for a man who allegedly abducted a young girl from her home and sexually assaulted her early this morning.
Police say the man entered a residence in the area of Bathurst Street and Wilson Avenue about 3 a.m.
Detective Const. Elena Vander Meer of the Sex Crimes Unit says family members located the girl within minutes after the alleged abduction and saw a man fleeing the scene.
The suspect is described as white, 19-20 years old, average build, approximate height between 5-feet-6 inches and 5-feet-10 inches.
Police say the suspect was last seen wearing a blue jacket with a red stripe or a sweatshirt and a toque, hat or hoodie.
Police are requesting the public's assistance with any information regarding the incident.
