4 arrested in Sherbrooke attempted murder

Sherbrooke Police arrested four people in connection with an attempted murder.

Just before 3:30 a.m. Saturday, a 42-year-old man was found seriously injured on Wellington South Street.

Officers went to the man's home a block west on Gordon Street, where they arrested four people.

Police said the suspects assaulted the victim, causing serious head injuries and broken bones.

They also said the suspects tried to strangle the man and drown him in his bathtub.

The four suspects live in the same building as the victim.

The man's life is not in danger.

Police said the motive for the attack is unknown.
