Most of us like the idea of getting two for the price of one; after all, if you can knock off two frankly annoying tasks at the same time, why wouldn't you try to?

In this week's "How To" feature, Everwell's "Motion Zone" segment shows us how to take two things most of us hate doing but know we need to -- household chores and exercising -- and turn them into easy ways to burn calories. From putting away the laundry to vacuuming your carpet, exercise physiologist Colleen Saringer shows us how to create our own mini workout sessions at home.

Even these small small steps can affect your overall health. Doing household chores could actually help improve the fitness of your heart, according to a study done by Queen's University.

Now, these moves in the video above may seem a bit awkward at first, but at least you'll be in the comfort of your own nest. So the next time you're doing the dishes, add in a few squats along the way. Or, you can always create your own dance routine.
