Acton Vale shooting victim dies

Quebec provincial police are investigating after a 26-year-old man died following a shooting Tuesday in Acton Vale, Que.

Dave Parenteau-Leblanc died during a fight involving several people at an apartment near Saint-André and Dubois streets, according to the Sureté du Quebec.

The victim was found unconscious when police arrived just after 11 a.m.

He later died in hospital.

Police have made no arrests, but several people are being questioned.

Police set up a command post near the crime scene Wednesday as the investigation continues.

Acton Vale is located about 90 kilometres east of Montreal.
