Cara Lee Ross, Charlottetown Wedding Crasher, Accused Of Theft From New Year's Eve Reception In P.E.I.

CHARLOTTETOWN - Police in Charlottetown have arrested a woman accused of crashing a New Year's Eve wedding reception and swiping cameras containing footage of the ceremony.

Officers responded to the reception after fielding a report about several stolen items, including digital cameras.

Cara Lee Ross faces six charges of theft in connection with the alleged incident.

The 25-year-old Montague woman is also charged with breach of probation.

She is due in provincial court Jan. 26.

Police say the cameras have been recovered.
