A New Year's Eve brawl in a Montreal Chinatown restaurant caused up to $20,000 in damages, including soya sauce and blood stains on the carpet.
Tables were overturned, chairs were bashed into the walls and plates were smashed at the Clark Street New Dynasty restaurant, after an argument between two groups of patrons escalated in the early hours of New Year's.
But no criminal charges are expected following the fight.
Staff at the restaurant say the two groups squared off sometime after 3:30 a.m, throwing plates, food and furniture at each other.
It's not clear what prompted the argument.
The fight was caught on video by an Ontario man who posted it online.
Police were called to the restaurant, but arrived after the groups had already left.
No one has come forward to press charges.
Management at New Dynasty say insurance should cover damages.
