Laval police called off the search for Pierrette Lamy on Monday.
The 72-year-old was last seen leaving her home in the Chomedey district last week.
Laval police constable Nathalie Lorrain said crews searched on foot and on all-terrain vehicles in the neighbourhood around Lamy's home.
Divers also scoured a small canal near her home that leads to the Milles-Îles River.
But police said the intensive search didn't reveal any clues about Lamy's whereabouts.
They said that unless they receive new information, they will not resume the search.
