More than 100 firefighters are trying to put out a five-alarm fire in Montreal's St-Henri neighbourhood.
Flames broke out Tuesday morning in a two-storey building on Bourget St. near St-Emilie, and firefighters were called to the scene at 10:30 a.m.
According to residents, the fire started in an empty apartment on a second floor that was under renovation. The other seven apartments have been evacuated.
One firefighter was injured after falling from a second-floor balcony. He was conscious as he was wheeled away on a stretcher.
An older woman was also taken away on a stretcher holding an oxygen mask to her face.
