Jamaal Magloire Free Throw Air Ball: Raptors Player's Epic Fail (VIDEO)

Somebody is going to be shooting free throws at the next practice. Toronto Raptors Jamaal Magloire had a chance to keep his team's hopes alive in a close game with the Indiana Pacers on Friday night.

The Raptors were down 93-90 with 14 seconds left when Magloire was fouled and sent to the line to shoot a pair of free throws.

He misses the first in spectacular fashion. We're not sure which is more priceless, the look on Magloire's face or the crestfallen expression on Raptors coach Dwane Casey.

To cap it all off, Magloire proceeds to miss the second free throw too. The Raptors would go on to lose the game 95-90.

To both Casey and Magloire's credit, both men defended the other for the late-game mishap.

"That's on me. I take full blame for that," the coach said at a post-game press conference.

Magloire also put the blame on himself. "I think that I've been playing this game long enough that I let the team down and I can be accountable as a man and say that I could have did a better job at the free-throw line and as a result we didn't win the game," he said.

Don't know much about basketball, eh. The miss might have been intentional to try to get the offensive rebound since there were only 13 seconds left. If he makes it, they're down 2 and have to foul right away. He misses, they get the offensive rebound, they could score (a 2 or a 3), maybe get a 3 pt or 4 pt play and possibly tie or go ahead.
