TORONTO - Romance appears to reign supreme in Kingston.
The eastern Ontario city takes the crown on the third annual list of the 20 most romantic cities in Canada.
For a second consecutive year, Guelph, Ont., landed in the runner-up spot in the rankings by Amazon.ca, while Kelowna, B.C., came in third place.
They're followed by Oakville, Ont., Victoria, Saskatoon, Regina, Calgary, Kamloops, B.C., and St. John's, N.L.

Ah most romantic. My wife and I want to go on one more trip before we officially settle down with kids and the whole shebang. We have been told a stop in Kamloops would be a good idea. We are looking at hotels through http://www.scottsinn.com but do you have any suggestions?

I'd agree with Barrie being on the list! My husband and I have stayed in Barrie hotels several times over the last few years and we love it there! Granted, I'm not from Canada so I don't know the other places well.

Figured where I've been freaking stuck for over 10 yrs (LONG STORY), the HRM area of NS was NOT going to make it. Can't find romance in the place where you grew uo? What's up with THAT? Toronto, when I lived there presented so so many opportunities for romance, work, MAGIC. Anybody got a room ...Torontonians? Yeah, didn't think so. Lol

This list is a joke, Hamilton, Ont is most likley hands down in one of the top 3 places. Someone needs to do some home work, or at least research.

wow... based on that list I'm shocked that Sudbury and Asbestos weren't included...

terrible.

stop making lists for the sake of making lists...

nobody is spending their honeymoon in Guelph or Kingston!!

Well...it certainly reflects an Anglo-Canadian bias. Has nobody ever been to Quebec City or romantic Montreal? Guess English Canadians think Guelph is more quaint or romantic.

This list was compiled by Michael Buble based on Amazon.ca's sales data of romance novels, sex and relationship books, romantic comedy DVDs and CDs.
