OTTAWA - The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is warning people not to eat certain beef products because they may be contaminated with E. coli bacteria.

The alert covers Country Morning Beef Burgers in one-kilogram packs and No Name Club Pack Beef Steakettes in 2.27-kilogram packs.

They were sold in several chain stores in Ontario, western Canada, and Northwest Territories.

A voluntary recall has been issued by the manufacturer, New Food Classics of Burlington, Ontario.

So far, there is one reported illness associated with the affected steakettes.
