Achieving the perfect look can be expensive -- from skincare to makeup to hair products, beauty items can cost a small fortune, and seldom do they work as well as they claim.

But not all beauty products are bunk -- we asked expert Staci Blayone, a senior stylist and makeup artist at Soma Salon and Spa in Regina, what products she thinks are worth spending the money on -- and which ones you can cheap out on -- at the drug store.
