The Greater Toronto Area and southern Ontario can expect a major snowfall overnight.


Environment Canada issued a snowfall warning for the GTA and parts of southern Ontario, where total snowfall accumulations of about 15 cm are expected Friday.


A low-pressure system over the state of Illinois is predicted to move across the lower Great Lakes Thursday night and spread into Southwestern Ontario.


The GTA will be hit by snow overnight.

Never say never when you live in Canada. One of the worst storms I ever saw was in April in Montreal.

When I was growing up in New Brunswick, in some years snow would fall in May!

I like how it's warm all week, but then as soon as I plan to go out and have fun downtown for the weekend, we get heavy snow again.

Heavy snow again? When has Toronto had heavy snow at all this winter? When I arrived in Toronto on the 7th, you had absolutely no snow at all. Even a mild town like Ottawa has a foot of snow on the ground. So quit your whining, Sofia!!!!

YES, FINALLY, WHEN I FOUND OUT I IMMEDIATELY WENT OUT AND TOLD THE SNOW BLOWER AND THE SNOWMOBILE. THE SNOWBLOWER IS ALL GRUMPY CAUSE HE HAS TO WORK TOMORROW BUT THE SNOWMOBILE IS ON A REAL NATURAL HIGH AND CAN HARDLY WAIT. WHEN I LEFT THE GARAGE, HE WAS BLOWING HIGH TEST SMOKE AND TRYING TO GET OFF THE TRAILER. THIS IS ALL IN CAPS BECAUSE I DIDN'T NOTICE UNTIL I WAS DONE AND WAS TOO LAZY TO GO BACK AND START OVER.
