Kurt Cobain

Courtney Love, never-ending font of controversial statements, recently alleged that Disney and the Muppets "raped" the memory of late husband Kurt Cobain. If the Muppets and Disney ever did commit the crime they are being accused of, it would be the gentlest perpetration of said act in history. Hey, Courtney, I just tried to avoid the headline on HuffPo Canada about the brutal rape of an 8 year old girl. I'm having trouble feeling sorry for you, and maybe you could tone down the rhetoric a tad there. I doubt that what you consider a bad cover version of your late husband's song is actually equivalent to what that little girl- or any rape victim, for that matter- suffers.

I think Kurt knew what a loose crack Courtney was before anyone else and he took the easy way out so he wouldn't be bothered with all those VD and Hepatitis tests.

From reading the article, I can only surmise that Ms. Love is upset that she's only getting half of the royalties-- the company she sold the rights to gets the other half.
