CBCNews.ca's Politics blogger convened her weekly "people's caucus" to discuss and debate the issues of the week, so far.

Up this week: With the NDP leadership convention just over a week away, signs of maneouvring among candidates are emerging, with Martin Singh declaring Thomas Mulcair as his second choice. Meanwhile, advance voting continues online and by mail using the party's preferential system of balloting that allows voters to choose a second (and third, and fourth, etc.) choice. Also: the robocalls controversy has slowed a bit as a topic of conversation in question period while the Liberals have dealt with accusations about their own use of robocall before election day last year. Where do things go from here?
