Spring-like weekend weather for Ontario

Call it the luck of the Irish, but much of southern Ontario will see warm, spring-like temperatures this St. Patrick's Day weekend and into next week.

Windsor sits at 23 C Saturday, while the Greater Toronto Area and Ottawa sit below the forecasted high and remain at around 8 C and 11 C respectively.

The evening shows an increase in cloudiness over most of southern Ontario, with fog patches developing after midnight and the temperature dropping.

Sunday, however, brings about more warm and active weather.

Eastern Ontario can expect sunshine and temperatures of up to 23 C Sunday.

Southwestern Ontario will again feel the heat at 23 C with cloud covering and a 60 per cent chance of showers and thunderstorms.

The GTA sees temperatures up to 19 C and a 40 per cent chance of showers and thunderstorms in the early evening.
