Hundreds of thousands of Montrealers turned out Sunday to see the city's 189th annual St. Patrick's Day parade.
The unseasonably warm and sunny weather helped bring out large crowds, who were able to see dozens of floats pass by, as well as some 2,500 participants.
Montreal's St. Patrick's Day parade has been an annual tradition that has taken place every spring since 1824.
The parade rolled down Saint Catherine Street downtown, and the street was closed between Du Fort and Aylmer Streets. The westbound side of René Lévesque Boulevard near the parade route was also temporarily closed.
Police had no incidents to report.
