As we welcome the first day of spring (and the unseasonably warm temps it brings with it this year), we'd like to coin a term: spinter. Yes, spinter. Definition: that weird in-between weather period (winter and spring) when people aren't sure what to wear; you'd like to bare your legs in shorts, but because of the chill you still need a jacket.

Spinter -- which usually begins in March and April -- brings out the sartorial worst in people. Even those who love fashion can fall prey to the maddening mix of climate shifts and wardrobe blunders this time of year brings.
