The driver of the tractor trailer that flipped on Highway 403 on Monday afternoon, trapping a woman in a car under the overturned vehicle, has been charged by police.
The 52-year-old truck driver is charged with careless driving.
The truck was on a ramp leading from Dundas Street to Highway 403 in Mississauga when it rolled over.
Edyta Tobiaz, 38, driving a Mazda CX7 was forced into a ditch and ended up with the truck pinning her into her car.
She was rescued by emergency personnel after being trapped for nearly two hours.
She emerged with only minor injuries. She was treated at hospital and released. Roland Tobiasz called his wife's survival a "miracle."
"It is truly a miracle that my wife has been spared her life."
Police have not released the driver's name.
