Alberta Wildrose Bus: Campaign Bus Back On The Road Minus Wheel Cleavage

EDMONTON - Alberta's Wildrose party campaign bus is back on the road, this time without the tire cleavage.

The bus was taken off the road Monday when indelicate jokes about its paint job went viral on the Internet.

The original version had the image of party leader Danielle Smith toward the back of the bus, her neckline right above the twin rear tires.

The new bus has Smith's picture in the middle, similar to where Premier Alison Redford's image is on the Progressive Conservative bus.

Opponents tried to take advantage of the redesign, saying if the Wildrose can't design a bus, they can't run a government.

Smith and the party laughed the situation off and called it one of the many unintended snarls that bedevil every campaign.

They redesigned the bus, they said, to avoid it becoming a distraction.

And these folks figure that they're competent to run the province...Danielle Smith was a miserable little runt with a column in the Calgary Herald several years ago...only reason she got it was because she knew the ridiculous Peter Menzies, who was publisher at the time.

The wheels on the bus go up and down, up and down, up and down

Pretty funny. Glad they had a good sense of humor about it!
