One person is dead after the ultralight plane he was in crashed in the Eastern Townships Saturday evening.
Two people were on board the two-seater plane when it went down in a wooded area between the towns of Bury and Scotstown, about two hours east of Montreal, at around 6 p.m. ET.
One man was injured but was able to escape the wreckage and go to the road for help.
When emergency crews arrived, they found the plane’s other occupant unconscious.
He was pronounced dead in hospital.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
