It isn't as difficult as it seems -- if you have instructions to follow.

A few years ago, Dabbler.ca posted a video on how to tie a full Windsor on YouTube, a knot that some find daunting. Kimberly Law, the founder of Personal Impact Image Consulting, coaches you through the how-to. Here are her five easy-to-follow steps:

The Full Windsor Step 1: Make The Wide End Longer

Start with the wide end of the tie to the right about 12 inches or longer than the narrow end on the left.

The Full Windsor Step 2: Cross The Wide End Over

Cross the wide end over the narrow end to the left and bring the wide end around and up through the loop.

The Full Windsor Step 3: Bring The Wide End Behind The Narrow End

Bring the wide end behind the narrow end, up back through the loop and down the back, placing the wide end on the right with the inside facing out.

The Full Windsor Step 4: Make A Bridge

Make a bridge and then bring the wide end up through the back and then down through the knot in front.

The Full Windsor Step 5: Slide The Knot Towards The Neck

Again, hold the front pinching the wide end under the knot; hold the narrow side as you slide it up toward the neck and shape the tie -- this will create a nice dimple.
