FREDERICTON - The spring session of the New Brunswick legislature opens today with the tabling of the Conservative government's 2012-13 provincial budget.

Government house leader, Paul Robichaud, says the government intends to introduce at least 30 pieces of legislation.

He says the agenda will include an anti-bullying act, new regulations for oil and natural gas exploration and a bill to allow for the election of senators.

Robichaud says the house will have to add evening hours in an effort to pass all the legislation by mid-June.
