The weigh-in for Justin Trudeau's boxing match with Tory Senator Patrick Brazeau got a little bit wild on Wednesday night.

The politicians stepped on the scales at The Aulde Dubliner pub in Ottawa's ByWard Market. But it wasn't their weights (Trudeau 180 pounds, Brazeau 183) that caught the audience's attention. It was their, how do we put this delicately ... it was their packages which really captivated the crowd.

After the weigh-in, which featured Brazeau disrobing into a Speedo, the two men engaged in some trash talking -- first over cuts in the budget to Katimavik, a youth program started by Trudeau's famous father, then over the policies of said father and then over matters of endowment.


"I'm here to beat him with my mind, my heart and a lot of length," Trudeau said, referring to his reach advantage over Brazeau. The Senator's response made the crowd go crazy.

"I've got a lot of length over here," said Brazeau, pulling out the waist band of his shorts and looking down at his ... you get the idea (See the exchange at 3:15 in the video above).

Brazeau continued the trash talking for another minute, while Trudeau stared on passively. The MP will the chance to answer with his fists on Saturday night.

The charity fight for cancer will take place at the Hampton Inn Convention Centre in Ottawa, but you can catch the battle live on the Sun News Network.
