Police have issued warnings to a trio of 23-year-old Abbotsford men for an embarrassing late night drunken escapade.
After a night of drinking, the men stripped down, hopped in a shopping cart and rode it through the 24-hour carwash.
Const. Ian MacDonald said police were called after neighbours heard loud screams coming from the building. When police arrived they found the intoxicated but freshly scrubbed men putting their clothes back on.
The men were not seriously injured, but MacDonald said he expected they would remember the sudsy experience for some time.
"Not knowing at this point whether they picked typhoon or super typhoon I would suggest that either of those and the combination of the brushes that would have come past them would be enough to definitely leave you with a little bit of a memory of what you had done the prior night," he said.
MacDonald joked it was lucky police arrived before the hot wax cycle.
