If you're going to announce the winner of the Juno Fan Choice Award at the Juno Awards, you want to look pretty good, right? Especially if Justin Bieber wins, which of course he did.
The presenter responsible for announcing Bieber's win at the 2012 Junos, which took place in Ottawa this past weekend, was recording artist Carly Rae Jepsen ("Call Me Maybe"). Her makeup look for the event was created by M.A.C Senior Artist Melissa Gibson.
On her skin, Carly wore M.A.C Cosmetics Studio Sculpt SPF 15 liquid foundation, Studio Sculpt full coverage concealer, and a dusting of Mineralize SkinFinish Natural powder.
Her lids were brushed with powder shadow in shimmery Silver Ring and Tilt, a frosty violet with blue-green tones. Print, a darker, satin-finish shimmery grey, intensified the crease; Carbon, a deep, matte black, added depth in the outer corners.
Fluidline gel liner in Blacktrack defined her upper lashlines; a swipe of Silver Ring shadow did the deed under her lower lashes and highlighted the inner corners of her eyes. False lashes #33 and a good coat of Zoomlash mascara in Zoomblack finished her eye makeup.
To keep the focus on Carly's eyes, Gibson avoided putting colour on the singer's cheeks. Instead she defined her cheek bones with Sculpt & Shape contouring powder (a MAC pro item available only at pro stores), in Sculpt. Lips, she finished with Hue Lipstick, a pale pink.
What do you think? Would you wear this look to announce Justin Bieber as an award-winner?
