They could have filmed the "Grindhouse" series of movies in North Main Winnipeg without actors.

. . . and we will never know their names so we can anticipate violent actions from them after they are slapped on the wrist.

The young offender's act is useless, these individuals are dangerous and their actions should have consequences. These people should have been named considering they've been previously sentenced, then people would actually be able to know to be weary of these disturbed youths.

We can only be glad that they didn't kill anyone, but I'm pretty sure the people who got stabbed will be horribly traumatized regardless.

People might think that the young offender's act gives people a shot at redemption, but it's certainly being used as a "get out of jail free" card. People redeem themselves through their actions, not through the act of becoming 18. It's ridiculous.

Coming up on the 10 o'clock news: Liberal party leader Bob Rae is asking for the creation of a knife registry... shouldn't cost more than $2 million...

Really? These kids obviously have problems, and you use it to further your agenda. Glad your not my parent.

Well, I was going to make a comments about the parent, and how we used to be held responsible for our kids actions until they turned 18... but that was a long time ago.

This been said, ever noticed how most violent offenders arrested are always known to police and are always breaching their probation orders?

What do you suggest we do? Obviously, their opportunity to turn their lives around hasn't exactly worked as intended...
