Finance Minister Wes Sheridan is expected to deliver a document that details how the Liberals will reduce red ink.
The province is grappling with a projected budget deficit of $80 million.
Commentators have predicted Sheridan will make cuts to every sector of the provincial government to bring the figure down.
The province has already announced a three to five per cent budget cut in every provincial government department with the exception of health.
Robert Ghiz's government has also already announced hundreds of job cuts.
The biggest cut so far as been 237 casual employees who work on summer road and maintenance crews for the Department of Transportation.
