Boy, 13, Takes Family Truck On Drive To Winnipeg

RCMP in Steinbach, Man., are looking for a 13-year-old boy who is believed to have taken the family truck for a drive to Winnipeg.


Erik Neufeld was reported missing from his home in the Rural Municipality of Hanover early Thursday morning.


Police say they believe Neufeld disappeared overnight and is driving a grey 2001 Chevy Silverado pickup truck with the Manitoba licence plate EXM 235.


The teen is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 95 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes.


Anyone with information about Neufeld's whereabouts is asked to contact police.


Steinbach is about 65 kilometres southeast of Winnipeg.

There has to be something wrong here. ONLY 95lbs. at 5' 7''. That is not very healthy. Is there family in Winnipeg? If so just wait untill he gets there. Or maybe check to see what is going on at home. He is only 13 yrs. old. That would be a real adventure for him.Hope he is found safe and sound. I think I would ground him untill he was 19. LOL
