Resolute Forest Products says the mill in Brooklyn will shut down from May 6 to May 21, and from June 17 to July 2.
Spokesman Pierre Choquette says the global market for paper products remains saturated.
It will be the third and fourth time the mill has called for down time since December, with the most recent shutdown in March also due to poor market conditions.
He says the paper market has been struggling for years and it's not known when it may turn around.
The provincial government provided a $50-million package last year and about 100 jobs were cut when the mill was facing closure.
