ST. JOHN'S, N.L. - Newfoundland and Labrador Premier Kathy Dunderdale says she did not get the answers she was looking for from the minister of defence's office surrounding the death a 14-year-old boy.

Ottawa has faced questions in recent months over the response to the calls for help in the search for Burton Winters in January.

Earlier this month, Dunderdale wrote Peter MacKay's office for clarification on those issues.

But Dunderdale says MacKay's response only opened up more questions.

She says the initial inquiry was based on discrepancies that were discovered in a recent documentary.

Dunderdale says her office is asking for further clarification, and once she gets that, she will table all the correspondence in the House of Assembly.
