A Toronto man who was shot at a Windsor, Ont., residence over the weekend, has connections to the person or persons who shot him, police say.
Windsor police say the 28-year-old victim was shot Saturday morning in the upper unit of a residence located at 1091 Marentette Ave., south of Erie Street East.
The victim suffered "several gunshot wounds", but his injuries are not life-threatening.
The shooting remains under investigation, though police say it was not a random attack.
As of Sunday afternoon, police said they had not made any arrests or found the weapon involved in the shooting.
