On Wednesday night, Mayor Rob Ford went on television to accuse Toronto Star reporter Daniel Dale of trespassing on his property and videotaping his backyard. This is Dale’s own account of the encounter.

Usually, it is the media chasing Mayor Rob Ford. I never expected Mayor Ford to chase me. Nor to fear for my safety in his presence.

What a freak! I mean the mayor. He really needs to get to know his legal property lines?
Get over yourself Ford! The reporter was not on your property and once again you phoned the police to waste their time. Believe me, they have far more real crimes to attend to! What a diva you are!
