The C-String Is The New G-String: Introducing The 'World's Smallest Thong' (PHOTO)

Underwear lines are a wardrobe faux pas, especially when there are so many different types of lingerie available to combat them -- the thong, seamless undies and boy shorts are just a few.

But this latest invention seems to go the extra mile toward preventing panty lines.

Dubbed the 'world's smallest thong,' may we introduce the C-String.

Here's what one retail website has to say about the product: "Did you really think that the G-String was the smallest thong around? Time to meet the C-String. The C-String is a completely new and exciting innovation in lingerie, with no waistband to show under skirts, pants and dresses. The C-String is the world's smallest thong!"

An ad for the line goes on to explain the C-String has a "flexible internal frame" that hugs and holds it to the body without the use of straps. (We assume the C-like shape of the product is where it gets its name.)

The thong promises no panty lines, no tan lines (you can wear it to the beach!) and that the "C String is the nearest to naked you can get without going commando."

We're not sure whether we'd go to such lengths -- like, ahem, wearing this -- to prevent panty lines, but we're curious to hear what you think.

Haha, the ONLY thing I could see this being useful for is to wear in a tanning bed if you don't want tan lines, but I can't see anyone actually wearing them as underwear!

If You cant wear a G string at the Beach what makes you think they would let women wear a C String. They boast its Ideal for the Beach no tan lines there not telling you If its Legal or not.

I think that this "C" clip design could be used in aerospace engineering applications. Maybe the phramastats on the dihedral(s).

I think it'll make the wearer crotchety on the whole.

That is to say, a little rash decision on the whole may go un-noticed, but that's about it.

These can be acquired online a for only a few bucks. I've bought several and given them to my favorite strippers. Some have the the buttock "clenching " strength to keep it on; others don't.

This is what's wrong with 2012, no morals. Use this as a yard stick; if you wouldn't want your 13 year old daughter wearing it, you shouldn't either. I know some woman just can't wait to show off their labia, but NO guy is going to want to marry a woman who is wearing one of these things when they meet. They go into the use em and lose em category.
