Braids were the big look over the weekend, and have been continually sported this season on runways around the world. An age neutral braid as recommended by Rossa involves a lightly textured side braid. Rossa suggest roughing up your hair with a mouse before styling, to keep the texture and hold throughout the day. Add volume at the crown by using a paddle brush or your fingers to create a tousled look. Gather hair to one side and start a braid at about ear length.

If any pieces fall out don’t worry, this will add to the relaxed look. Once you have secured the braid at the bottom you can spray it lightly to give it extra hold, but be sure to leave it soft. This classic and simple style can be sported with any outfit throughout the summer, and you can dress it up or down depending on your mood. Make it your own by adding accessories into your hair like a clip, fresh flowers, or a headband.
